 Description

An Electrical Engineer II will apply electrical engineering principles and techniques to research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems. Able to fabricate electronic boards, test, and evaluate systems under minor supervision. Can perform electronic board layout using software tools. Will deal directly with electronics suppliers and will perform component evaluations and selection under minor supervision.
Will develop simple electronics circuit and can test designs on prototype boards. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications in testing electrical components, equipment, and systems.

Work may be more focused on embedded software. Knowledge of relevant software codes and ability to apply code development with circuit, subsystem and system design.

 Required Skills

Requires a Bachelors degree and 5 or more years of related experience.
