Raytheon?s Electronic Design Directorate (EDD) provides engineering design, integration and production to core radar, sonar, torpedo and combat system competencies (process and control, integration and test, power systems, torpedo and sonar electronics, receivers and exciters, antennas and microwave subassemblies). EDD centers are located in Andover, Tewksbury, Sudbury & Woburn, MA, Huntsville, AL, & San Diego, CA.

Electrical Engineer II
The newly hired Electrical Engineer(s) researches, develops, designs and tests electrical components, equipment, systems and networks. Designs electrical (Microwave, RF, Analog, Mixed-Signal, and Digital) equipment, components, products and systems for defense, commercial, industrial, and domestic and foreign purposes. Designs, develops and tests Signal Processing and embedded control software. Applications include, but are not limited to, radar, missile, ship systems electronics, and communication systems. The tasks may include laboratory integration, test and evaluation, and fault isolation of prototype hardware. The engineer may also support system studies, analyses and simulations from concept through detailed design. Familiarity with simulation and CAD tools is a plus. New engineers will work with and will be mentored by senior personnel.
Basic Qualifications
- M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering curriculum
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
Desired Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills
- Some project work or co-op/intern experience in design, analysis or simulation preferred. Customer focus and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools
