Electrical Engineer/Material Sourcing
Adecco Technical is seeking a candidate with an Electrical Engineering background along with Sourcing or Material Purchasing experience to handle electrical parts sourcing and parts qualification. This is a contract opportunity with a possibility of future hire with a global medical device manufacturer located in Aurora, OH.
DESCRIPTION:
Work with Engineering/Sourcing/Materials for selecting suppliers and setting up supply chain
Ordering materials for pre-production projects (NPI, ECO etc)
Ensure timely supply of material for NPI`s and expedite part shortages.
Support engineering document transfer to suppliers.
Communication with suppliers on part developments/ECN/PCN etc.
Support outsourcing team for part outsourcing process.
Work with cross functional team for completing the validation & verification of outsourced parts.
Supplier visits as needed.
Setup and maintain required documentation process for Sourcing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
AS OR BS in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Electronics
1+ years of Electrical or Engineering related experience
6 months+ experience in materials sourcing is a huge plus
