Electrical Engineer RPD - Invivo - GO

Under limited supervision, performs engineering work and applied research, development, and design of new products.

- Simulation, design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices as part of RPD projects.
- Data collection and analysis of prototype electrical and imaging performance.
- Travel, both within the USA and abroad, when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of electrical engineering, particularly E&M and analog electronics design
- Skill in troubleshooting and innovatively solving relatively complex electrical design problems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of engineering methodology and processes required for robust prototyping
- Manual dexterity with hands and tools used in assembly operations recommended.
- Mastery of basic tools, measurement and testing devices (including analyzers) required for assembling electronic components.
- Ability to use provided computer software such as PSPICE and MATLab to simulate, design and evaluate devices.
- Strong oral and written communication skills within a team context and with external research collaborators.

Required Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Typically requires a four-year technical degree (EE or equivalent)
- Two years design experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two-four years design experience
- Project leadership experience is a plus.
