Electrical Engineer - Sales

Position is a contract to hire or a perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Electrical Engineer needed, with knowledge of Engineering for motorized power systems and electrical controls.

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering with exposure to sales and marketing as part of your previous responsibilites. Strong customer service is a good start for sales/marketing experience.

Duties:

-Responds to telephone inquiries for technical information and attempts to convice perspective customer of desirability and practicality of products offered.
-Reviews blueprints, plans and other customer documents to design appropriate system application.
-Develops and prepares cost estimates, sketches, and written quotes for customer.
-Purchases and maintains adequate inventory of motores, purchased controls and measurement devices.
-Follows up on sales quotes and maintains customer relationships.
-Develops and secures new business.
-Provides technical services to customers relating to use, operation and maintenance of equipment.
-Resolves customer problems and acts as a liasion with production.
-Identifies and develops new components
-Provides sales support at trade shows
-Maintains phone and order logs
-Maintains technical libray and supplies pricing for catalog.

Salary - Mid $50k and up, based on experience.
