Newcomer Associates a growing Architectual and Engineering Firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to head up our Electrical Engineering Department.
Newcomer Associates is a 24 person firm licensed in 17 states.
Our projects include Hospitality, Churches, Long Term Care, Commercial and Industrial.
Chambersburg's population is approximately 17,000 and is located one hour south of Harrisburg, Pa and less than two hours from Baltimore, Md and Washington, D.C..
The area has easy access to historic battlefields and railroads, outdoor recreation, golfing skiing and several small universities.
Principal Duties
Consult with firm clients to assess their needs Coordinate design with in-house Architectural, Structural, and Mechanical DepartmentsWrite Electrical specifications Manage Electrical Cadd Technicians Review contractor submittals Perform site visits (Limited overnight travel required) Limited drafting using AutoCad Coordinate with outside Consultants
Educational Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering EIT Certification Required PE License Preferred
Qualifications
Experience in Building Electrical power systems Interior and Exterior Lighting Design Fire Alarm systems AutoCad 2000 or higher experience
