Electrical/Natural Gas Contract Mgmt

Job Description: Assist with management of deregulated electrical and natural gas contracts. Assist in processing and allocating all utility invoices. Prepare payment requests for utilities and monitor payments. Prepare detailed annual energy budgets. Work with team responsible for robust energy conservation to identify, engineer, and implement energy conservation projects. Calculate costs for implementing and resultant savings for energy conservation projects. Help recruit then train energy conservation teams. Assist energy conservation teams to identify and implement energy conservation measures throughout El Segundo business unit. Track results of energy conservation program.



Required Skills:


- 5-7 years experience in managing deregulated electrical and natural gas contracts in California.
- Thoroughly knowledgeable of California energy markets.
- Have a proven track record with electric and gas contract management.
- Subject Matter Expert in support of electrical energy conservation efforts.
- Proven ability to identify, evaluate and manage energy conservation projects.
- Knowledgeable of California Title 24.
- Good written and oral communication skills, and have experience in giving presentations.
- Experienced in preparing detailed Statements of Work.
- Proven ability to use email, and Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Project.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance

- Innovative in identifying conservation opportunities and directing efforts of employee energy conservation teams.
- Experienced in training energy teams.
- Able to evaluate and calculate energy savings.
- Knowledge of electric and gas company conservation incentives.
- Ability to track results and prepare reports showing energy savings.
- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to prepare detailed project cost estimates.
- 5-7 years of experience in commercial and industrial setting.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil engineering drawings.

Required Education (including Major): BSEE or BSME or equivalent degree/experience.
