Electrical Substation Engineer (06213)

WorleyParsons provides engineering, procurement, construction management, program management and consultancy services to clients in the Hydrocarbons, Power, Minerals and Metals and Infrastructure sectors.  We are one of a handful of global companies with the capability and track record to execute large capital projects from conception right through to operation.  We are currently seeking an Electrical Substation Engineer.

Responsibilities include:  Develop detailed design deliverables for switchyard and substation systems including, one/three line diagrams, schematics, construction packages; Support proposal development efforts; Develop protective relay settings for high voltage systems with the support of in-house experts when necessary.

Job Requirements:
Applicant must be be a degreed electrical engineer with 5-10 years design experience in substation design, physical layout, protective relaying and equipment procurement.  Familiarity with CAD programs is prefered but not required. PE license desired.  Applicant must be a resourceful self-starter able to work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision. Must have good written and oral communications skills a proactive attitude and be open to occasional travel or short-term out-of-town assignments.
