Electrical Technician - Mechanical/PLC/Troubleshoot 33.3-39.5 K/yr

IMMEDIATE NEED for Maintenance Electrician in Metro Atlanta GA. The candidates main responsibilities will be to actively pursue and correct problems with components and systems throughout the facility. The candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrically controlled equipment, including PLC controlled and solid state equipment. The candidate will need a thorough knowledge of automated packaging machinery operation, pump theory, pneumatic principles, hydraulic principles, applications troubleshooting and repairs. The candidate will need to have experience with reading and interpreting electrical schematics and work safely with both low and high voltage circuits. The candidate will need to have basic knowledge of typical facility and manufacturing support systems including steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration systems. A solid mechanical and electrical background required. A food manufacturing background would be helpful but not required. This is a 2nd shift position from 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend work and overtime.
