Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Kelly Engineering is looking for a Electrical Engineer that also has a strong background in Mechanical systems.


Job Description:
1. Develop project plans that include project schedules and product cost estimates. This includes tracking and reporting on the progress of projects.
2. Develop electro-mechanical systems that could include:
' Motors (stepper and DC motors)
' Sensors (temperature, optical, hall effect, switches, etc.)
' Power switching for lighting system and refrigeration systems
' Electronic control systems
' Cable/Harnessing
3. Must be able to work as part of a team. This person will need to work closely with the mechanical engineers and controls system design group.
4. Assist with getting regulatory approvals such as UL, FCC, CSA, CE Mark, C-Tick, etc.

Education/Requirements:
1. Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Five or more years of experience designing electro-mechanical products.
3. Understanding of BOM structures and manufacturing practices.
4. Knowledge of reliability engineering.
5. Human relations skills to effectively work with co-workers, subordinates and internal/external customers.
