At the West Hartford, location, Goodrich Pump & Engine Control Systems (GPECS) has been a leader in advanced fuel control systems technology for aerospace and industrial applications for over sixty years.

The West Hartford location has an immediate opening for an electronic engineer to fulfill a Product Support Engineering function. Desired product support experience includes: Component level trouble shooting, component fault root cause analysis and reporting, and experience interfacing with Quality Assurance Engineers, Manufacturing and Design Engineers, and component suppliers. The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of Avionics hardware design; possess familiarity with 6-sigma design methodologies, as well as build-in-test and hands on trouble shooting methodology.

A minimum of a BSEE with 3 to 5 years of electronic design experience with some technical experience in Avionics preferred. It is desired that the applicant also have good communication skills with some technical writing experience.
