Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, currently has a need for 3 Contract Electronic Technicians in their Blaine, Mn facility.

Our ideal candidate will have:
~Two year electronic diploma, certificate or equivalent
~5+ years experience in analog or mixed signal electronic applications
~Strong Microsoft Excel skills
~Familiarity with LabVIEW

Preferred:
~Characterization/Verification test experience in a Medical or Defense industry
~LabVIEW programming experience
~Organized and efficient
~Ability to excel in a high pressure environment

Basic description of the role
The successful candidate will participate in the hardware verification testing of a next generation implantable pacemaker/defibrillator product family. The work will involve setting up and executing verification tests from an established procedure. There will be a combination of automated and manual (bench) tests to be performed. Once completed, the technician will be asked to generate tables and charts from the raw data files and analyze the outcomes versus the established requirements. The technician would then generate a test summary report and distribute it to the responsible parties. Any issues would need to be reported to the associated engineer as soon as possible. In most cases, the technician would be required to support the issue investigations along with the engineer.
