The West Hartford location has an immediate opening for an Electronics Product Engineer to work in a Project team environment to support design changes and Project/Design Engineering investigations into both Customer and Production related issues. This individual will also be involved with all aspects of providing Product Engineering support in the form of quoting, designing, developing and qualifying re-designs for existing production and fielded electronic engine control programs for multiple FAA and Government applications.

Desired Electronics experience includes: Design experience with Low voltage instrumentation analog circuit design (Thermocouple, RTD, variable reluctance pickups, pressure transducers, Hall effect sensors), AC instrumentation/sensor design (including both processing circuits and sensors for RVDT and LVDT), and high power circuit design including circuit development and machine design ( solenoid/motor or alternator design). These circuits include both linear and pulse width modulated designs.

The successful applicant should have a working knowledge of hardware design standard DO-160 and qualification standard DO-254. They should also possess familiarity with 6-Sigma design methodologies, built-in-test, design for noisy environments, and hands on development testing.

Tool experience desired includes ViewLogic, PADS, VHDL, Microsoft Office, DOORS.

5-10 years of electronics engineering experience in Avionics, Instrumentation or Control System Design or Product Engineering is required. A minimum of BSEE is also required.
