Position Description & Responsibilities

 

Individual will perform detailed design and development of embedded hardware and software in support of wireless sensor network and other programs. Embedded hardware design responsibilities include schematic capture and circuit design & analysis of embedded processors, digital logic FPGAs, digital communications interfaces, sensor interfaces, sensor signal conditioning, sensor data acquisition systems and power conversion. Digital logic design responsibilities include performing VHDL design, analysis, simulation, synthesis and verification. Other responsibilities include embedded programming development in support of integration and test activities.

 

Required Education & Experience

BSEE required, MSEE preferred. Candidate should have experience and/or course work in analog and digital circuit design, VHDL design/synthesis/simulation, embedded software design using C/C++, and integration & test activities. Experience with wireless communications is desired. Individual must have good technical and presentation skills.
