We are seeking an Embedded Systems Architecture Engineer - DTV Software for our Boston based client

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Translate customer requirements into functional specifications
- Define functional partitions between various layers of the protocol stack
- Perform design reviews and test case reviews to meet requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
-BS or better in CS, CE or EE
- 6 + years of embedded software development experience in the Digital TV industry.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills are a must.
- Must have some development experience in a Linux environment.
- Good working knowledge of real time operating systems, multiprogramming concepts, debugging embedded systems, compilers, etc.
- Good working knowledge of Digital/Analog TV technologies/standards (such as DVB, PAL, ATSC, and NTSC).
- Understanding of MPEG2 Transport, Audio/Video decoding, SI/PSI, Conditional Access, and Video Post-Processing (scaling, de-interlacing, and color processing).
- Understanding of A/V interfaces like HDMI, VGA, Component, and SCART.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel internationally.
