POSITION TITLE:

Embedded systems programmer

 

LOCATION:

 

Castle Rock, CO 80104

 

SCOPE OF POSITION:

◘ Design, code, document, test and maintain embedded software for wireless communications channels

◘ Depending on background, provide top level architecture for secure wireless protocols for the comm. channels

◘ Support testing and analysis of performance data for resulting wireless comms channels

◘ Depending on background, provide mentoring to young programmers and technicians in coding techniques

◘ Interact with other IntellaSys design groups as necessary to help support their wireless radio needs

◘ This position will initially report to the group VP.  Eventually it will report to group engineering lead.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

◘ Produce tested and documented code for various wireless communications prototype devices

◘ Depending on background, provide primary designs for security of the wireless links

 

REQUIREMENTS - EXPERIENCE:

◘ 5+ years of embedded programming required

◘ Fluent in Forth a plus

◘ 5+ years of working with network protocols a plus

◘ Designing network protocols as well as implemented them, an extra plus

◘ Experience in working in a hardware/software development team environment required

◘ Xtreme programming experience a plus

◘ Experience in working in a small, start-up situation preferred

EDUCATION:

◘ BS in EE, Phys, or related technical field required, MS a plus
