Job Summary
This is your opportunity to provide innovative technical leadership for the design and development of embedded systems focused on the leading-edge of the electric vehicle market! The ideal candidate is a senior level software engineer ready to lead project development for wired and wireless industrial equipment monitors and controllers for electric vehicles. This job will involve working with state of the art wireless mesh networks and span software from C code for microprocessors to network applications for Linux and Windows servers and PC's. You will lead others in an energetic team environment, acting as a project lead on the design and development of embedded systems.
Requirements
BSEE with 5 to 15+ years of experience. Masters degree or comparable continuing education in embedded systems is a plus.Experience with C, Linux, Windows, Windows CE, required.Motivated self-starter who can work effectively in a team environment with project management experience including a history of software development that met schedules.Thorough knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, Windows and Linux network drivers and networking protocols.Design experience with ARM class microprocessors and 8-bit general-purpose micro's.Knowledge of analog and digital hardware for control and measurement.Application development for PC's in a Windows and Linux environment desired.Experience with Zigbee and wireless networking a plus.Excellent management and communication skills required.
