Engineer - Design and Analysis

Danaher Motion has an opening for an energetic, self-motivated, ?hands on? professional to lead development, analysis, testing and implementation of breakthrough ball screw technologies.  This position will work with customers to develop integrated electromechanical sub assemblies, design, and conduct and analyze lab testing of new products.  The successful candidate will work with design and process teams to identify, investigate and implement state of the art materials, design improvements and manufacturing processes. 

 

Requirements include demonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and presentation skills, a BSME and 5-10 years experience in mechanical design and development.  Also required is experience with solid modeling (UG or ProE), design analysis tools (FEA, etc) and testing methods, and experience with electro-mechanical or gearbox systems.  A background in bearings, rolling mechanical contact or similar and experience with structural analysis is preferred.
