Engineer, Field Service

An innovative leader in designing and manufacturing material handling and conveying systems for the power generation industry,

   is seeking experienced Field Service Engineers (3) 

 

*Travel requirements will be up to 50% -80% domestic

 

Field Service Engineers provide field support both domestic and international; in the installation, start-up, operation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical material handling equipment for the power industry.

 

Must be able to prepare detailed reports of service trips; indicate problems encountered, work performed, and recommendations for design change considerations in some instances.

 

Perform various material test simulations and evaluate results to aid in solving operating problems. Receive in-house calls from customers. Must be able to resolve problems by phone or by visiting the plant to inspect and rectify malfunctions.  Periodic return trips to customer?s plants to check procedures being used, operations, and to provide training will be required.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.  Related experience in Field Service or power Plant Maintenance also desired.  An ability to work independently, and lead groups of skilled workers. Mechanical and Electrical aptitude required.
