JOB DESCRIPTION and QUALIFICATIONS:
The qualified candidate shall be capable of interfacing with customer, perform analyses, generate plans, and reports for a variety of equipment. Perform test and trend studies on a variety of products. The candidate shall be capable of performing the following tasks: Monitor Reliability Growth Test Program and Environmental Stress Screening for various programs (Familiarity with MIL-STD-781); Monitor FRACAS programs, reporting on test or field failures as required by contract. Perform failure trend reviews and detailed parts analysis as required by contract; Perform failure investigations including laboratory analyses of failed devices. Monitor and work with suppliers to investigate and correct deficiencies. Select analysis labs and interface with them when performing analysis. Interface with internal departments and have purchase orders generated; Chair Failure Review Board Meetings with customer, various company disciplines and Military representatives; Generate proposal estimates and write ups as required by the various business groups; Generate Estimates To Complete for responsible program and perform Cost Account Management on responsible efforts; Generate reliability allocations and predictions (Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-217F and MIL-STD-756). A knowledge of software programs RELEX and Prism helpful; Perform Electronic Component Stress Analysis to verify conformance to company guidelines (Familiarity with TE000-AB-GTP-010); Perform Worse Cases Tolerance Analysis to access system under Worse Case conditions (Familiarity with Reliability Toolkit Handbook); Involved in the selection and monitoring of suppliers (Familiarity with MIL-STD-785 guidelines); Generate Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis, FMECA?s (Familiarity with MIL-STD- 1629 and FMC-97); Attend customer kickoffs and required technical review meetings. Present Reliability/Maintainability/Safety and Human Factors Engineering capabilities and status as required for individual contracts (Familiarity with MIL-STD-882 and MIL-STD 454); Generate SDRL data for Reliability, Maintainability, Safety and Human Factors Engineering for a variety of products.
