Position Description:

Responsible for the design, development, prototyping and certification of PCB level hardware for GSM/GPRS cellular handsets. This position will work on one or more of the following areas: RF Receive path, Synthesizer/VCO, Transmit Path; RF PA. The position requires hands-on debugging and bench level work on RF circuits and cellular handset PCB?s. Candidate should be capable of self-directed work and be focused on practical problem solving and product design. In addition to the technical duties this position will interface with the manufacturing partner to insure that the products are production ready; will interface with the end customer to insure that all technical specifications are understood; and will produce and maintain technical documentation pertinent to the project.



Qualifications:

BSEE with course work in RF and /or communications electronics, plus a minmum of 3+ years hands-on experience with cellular handsets or other hand-held consumer products.

Preferred: 5+ years hands-on experience with cellular handsets or other hand-held consumer products or similar experience.

The candidate should be capable of self-directed work in a small group environment and should be able to assume a ?hands-on? role for a variety of technical and administrative tasks.
