Android Industries is a world class automotive assembler integrator/parts sequencer based in Southeastern Michigan.  We are a successful growth oriented leader in the fast paced, quickly expanding sequencing and modular assembly segment of  the American automotive industry.  We currently have an immediate opening for Engineering Change Coordinator at our new Lansing/Delta Twp., MI facility.  Our goal is to promote or hire the person who best meets Android's expectations for the position.

 

 

Primary Job Responsibilities

 Responsible for official gate keeping of engineering changes.Create and maintain all customer driven engineering changes.Adjust ACWS to allow scanning of PTR material.Track and locate PTR material.Communicate PTR feedback to GM.Communicate engineering change issues to all crews.Communicate, monitor and document any coordinated engineering changes to all crews.Input all rack repair sheets from maintenance.Attend weekly meetings on and off site.Perform internal audits.

Qualifications

 Product knowledge of console/cockpitSystems knowledgeComputer skills - Microsoft Office (Excel/Access)Engineering Change System experienceKnowledge of system documentation and flow chartsLeadership skillsKnowledge of material specifications / 'Bill of Material'Flexibility to work additional and non-routine hours
