Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Operations, this position works consistently with company goals, objectives, and policies; initiates, plans, organizes, and directs the work of assigned personnel and resources; coordinates with other managers for other resources; monitors the work progress; takes corrective action; and closes out efforts and contracts.

1.Identifies program requirements; establishes objectives; and balances competing demands for quality, scope, time, cost, and risk.
2.Implements actions to ensure attainment of customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and business plan for growth and profit.
3.Day-to-day management of assigned programs within the operations department
4.Provides oversight of contract requirements, budget, schedules, quality, customer satisfaction, and personnel of multiple assigned Program/Project Managers and their respective programs
5.Assists with the employment, training, management, motivation, discipline, and career development of the management team
6.Ensures financial accountability of all programs within the directorate by working closely with program control; coordinates and leads periodic Program Management Reviews
7.Assists in the development and management of division financials to ensure goals are achieved; prepares input for annual business planning
8.Identifies and capitalizes upon new business and growth opportunities; leads business development efforts within the directorate's functional area; supports company business development activities in marketing meetings, technical briefings, and proposals
9.Develops strategy and policy to further company goals.
10.Leads, mentors, and develops the capabilities of and recognizes and rewards the achievements of assigned personnel.
11.Promotes company values, ethics and culture.
12.Other duties may be assigned.

Supervision - The Director will manage multiple Program Managers

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; 10+ yrs program/project management or related experience; understanding of and experience with EV is a plus; thorough understanding of financial aspects of project management, including rate buildup and profit/loss, is a plus

Computer Skills
Proficient in MS Office programs.
