Engineering Group Head II Mass Properties

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all activities regarding Mass Properties of Gulfstream Products including:
1)Development, implementation and compliance with departmental procedural and technical policy.
2)Hiring and allocation of personnel with sufficient knowledge and experience for their tasks in the engineering projects.
3)Specifying, implementing and managing required tools for Mass Properties activities.
4)All aspects of tracking and reporting of mass properties data of Production and Development Programs.
5)Pursuance of optimization and weight improvement opportunities on all Gulfstream Products.
6)Aircraft weight and balance analysis of potential products and competitive configurations.
7)Supervisory responsibility to include direction of several subordinates and staff. Develop goals and objectives. Prioritize workload. Personnel hiring, training and performance appraisals.

Prerequisites
Prerequisites
1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering Required.
2. Minimum of 13 years engineering experience with at least eight (8) years in the specific technical discipline.
3. Requires 5 years prior supervisory experience.
