Engineering Integration Manager--

 

Job Description:

?  Manage team working with OEMs to develop vehicle specific installation plans for customers

?  Update technical documentation to reflect product enhancements and feature changes

?  Prepares and presents reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and makes recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results.

?  Provides technical and administrative guidance and direction for individuals and projects within the group when needed.

?  Monitors and ensures adherence to Product Development Process and other department and company processes and procedures.

?  Provides input to Department Vice president on strategic direction.

?  On-site support of beta and controlled introductions of new products.

?  20-30% Travel is required to represent the company to internal and external customers.

?  Develop resolutions to customer requests and issues

?  Act as engineering liaison to foster efforts for product development/changes to address field installation issues

?  Serve as a technical resource for engineering development projects

?  Interact with Field Service to address customer issues and inform the field of product improvements

?  Participate in Customer Service team in a technical role

 

Experience required:BSEE; 2+ years engineering experience,Excellent communication skills (researching, writing, editing, and presentation)Knowledge of CAN bus systems (SAE-J1939 and CAN Open specifications), ASME standards preferredMust have the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple day-to-day activities.Must be able to build, maintain and lead productive and effective customer/supplier relationships.Must have excellent communications skills.
