Engineering Manager – Fascinating Application - Fire Suppression

If you are an experienced Engineering Manager with an extensive track record of designing fire suppressant systems using agents, such as, CO2, FM-200, other clean agents, dry chemicals, foams, etc. plus have mentored and managed engineers in suppressant technology, then we need to talk.

 

To give you a little background on our company, Firetrace International is a Dynamic, Profitable, Venture Backed, Patent Protected, Revolutionary Fire Detection and Suppressant System Company which has experienced double-digit growth over the last several years and is positioned to continue this at a profitable pace.  Our customer base is very strong, with users located around the world.  We are located in the beautiful Southwestern part of the United States (Phoenix, AZ area).  We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team in this critical capacity. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

?  Work closely with clients to design unique, highly custom suppressant system in some of the most interesting applications imaginable.

?  Working with listing/approval agencies, such as, UL and FM to assure that all new products are approved.

?  Manage a small application engineering staff and develop it into a mature, self-sufficient unit that can effectively work with clients.

?  Work closely with our sales team to support the client?s pre and post sales cycle.

 

 

Requirements:

 

?  A BS in Engineering

?  Advance degree, PE certification, or NICET level III or IV would be a huge plus.

?  At Least 5 or more years of suppression design work.

?  At least 3 or more years in a like management position

?  Possess good account management skills

?  Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and listening skills

?  Strong leadership, motivational, and problem solving skills

?  Ability to travel

?  Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business software
