Engineering Manager

Command Alkon, the global leader in integrated solutions to the construction materials industry, is currently seeking a qualified Engineering Manager for our Birmingham, AL corporate headquarters.

 

Job Responsibilities:Manage the design, development, and ongoing engineering support for a variety of electronic control and communication systems developed for use in the construction materials industry.  This includes the development of new features and communication methods as needed.This position is required to interface with various regulatory agencies as well as clients to provide necessary support.Manage the work of personnel in 2 areas of Engineering (maintenance and support of hardware and software systems)

 

Requirements:

?  BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

?  Minimum 8 years of design level experience in embedded systems design.

?  Extensive experience in both hardware and software design is required. 

?  Must be proficient in both C and Assembly language programming

?  Must be proficient in digital/analog circuit design, including use of circuit board layout tools

?  Working knowledge of wireless communications systems

?  Working knowledge of .NET programming methods
