Engineering Manager of RF Design

Keys:

? Must have a BSEE degree and a minimum of eight years experience as an RF design engineer (MSEE desired)

? Must have a minimum two years experience in a project management or lead role in an RF design environment

? Detailed understanding of both digital and analog modulation methods.

? Must have experience in both architecting radio systems and detailed circuit level design of associated receiver and

transmitter circuits (frequencies up to 8 GHz, power levels up to 100W).

? Expertise in the following areas: RF system design architecture tradeoffs (gain, NF, IP3, spur analysis); phase locked

oscillator performance optimization (phase noise, microphonics); use of RF simulation tools such as MWO or Eagleware.

? Must have experience in project scheduling to estimate resource requirements, development timelines and communicate

progress to senior management (MS Project experience desired).

 

Job Summary:

Will direct and lead a team of senior engineering professionals in developing advanced microwave transmitter and receiver

circuitry at frequencies from DC to 8GHz. This position will report to the Director of Engineering.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Participate in establishing the company`s strategic direction

? Direct and manage product development projects, which may range from complete transmitter and receiver sub-assembly

design to minor changes to existing products.

? Lead and mentor senior engineering team members as well as play an individual contributor role.

? Recruit and retain top engineering talent as our company continues to grow
