Engineering Position Description



MOR/ryde, is looking for individuals interested in joining our engineering team. Prior experience and (or) knowledge of metal fabrication is a plus. An Engineering degree is required. Initial responsibilities include:



Learning and developing the ability to utilize our CAD drawing systems.



Learning and understanding how we program our lasers, punching and bending equipment.



Learning and becoming fluent with our ERP system to create Bills of Materials for quoting and production of orders and establishing job routings.





Mastery of these entry level requirements allows the candidate opportunities for rapid advancement into Project Management based on your skills and initiative. Project Management could then include any of the following responsibilities:



Sourcing, acquisition, and implementation of new equipment or facilities.



Improving processes within Morryde?s organization.



Understanding customer?s needs for a specific project and designing products utilizing experience gained in Morryde?s capabilities to solve problems for our customers.
