Combined-cycle Power Plant Technician will be responsible for all outside operation duties on assigned shift.


Must be well versed in power plant operations and maintenance, be able to diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain plant systems and equipment under normal and emergency conditions.


In addition to proficiency in power plant operations, the ideal candidate should also be experienced in one or more of the following areas:Electrical and Controls Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Water Chemistry control and associated equipment, Environmental regulations and control equipment, and Specialty welding principle


Must be able to read and work from P&ID's, electrical diagrams, and Technical Manuals, as well as, established plant procedures.


Must be computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office products and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Main Saver a plus).


Candidate will cross train in all areas of power plant operations and maintenance, and will be expected to train and work towards certification as Control Room Operator.


Successful candidate will be assigned to work a 12 hour rotating shift, as well as outages and coverage for fellow operators for sick leave, vacation etc.
