As a Hot Runner Design Engineer at the Detroit Technical Center, you will design hot runners and manifold systems including modeling, drafting, and bill of material creation. You will show creativity and engineering competence in the design of new or non-similar hot runners with little supervision.  Knowledge of thermodynamics, plastics, injection molding, electrical, machining, and stress analysis is an asset to this position. 

 

Minimum requirements include an associates degree or equivalent experience preferably Mechanical Engineering and 1 to 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design.  Expertise in 3D CAD (UG preferred) is a requirement to maintain progressive growth.  Mold design and/or mold making experience highly preferred.  Excellent verbal/written communication skills, attention to detail along with time management skills are desired.  This dynamic company is expanding rapidly and this is a great opportunity to become an integral part in its success.
