Job Requirements and Description

 

Meets the qualifications of an Engr. Tech. II (Equip) plus two additional years experience performing data collection of highly complex military/non-military equipment and associated maintenance concepts or an Associate?s Degree in a technical area and five years experience in performing data collection or; meets qualifications of Engr. Tech. I plus three additional years experience in performing data collection of highly complex military/non-military equipment and associated maintenance concepts or an Associate?s Degree in a technical area and five years experience in performing data collection of highly complex military equipment and associated maintenance concepts.  The Wage Determination hourly rate is $22.40 per hour.

 

Other Duties:

 

Lead specialist for approximately 5-10 lower-graded employees assigned to collect data on highly complex test program.  Provides technical guidance, assistance and on-the-job training and closely monitors and directs the work of the lower-graded employees working on respective projects.  Checks on work in progress and reviews and initials completed work generated by lower-graded employees for quality assurance, completeness and accuracy on a daily basis.  Returns unacceptable work and counsels employee(s) on this matter.  Instructs employees on specific tasks and job techniques and makes available written instructions, reference materials, and supplies.  Maintains up-to-date files, supplies, manuals and data forms for each test project.  Recognizes basic problems in data collection techniques and recommends solutions.
