Job Description: Remove and replace through-hole and surface mount components from printed wiring boards. Fabricate and assemble electronic assemblies from schematics, written/verbal instructions or assembly/fabrication drawings or procedures. Electrical cable assembly fabrication incorporating wiring using wire wrap, crimp and solder techniques. Assemble RF cable assemblies with SMA, TNC, and BNC connectors. No automated assembly is utilized. Use of hand soldering and assembly tools exclusive to performing duties in low quantity production and rework environment.

Required Skills:
Required to become ANSI/J solder certified. Excellent use of hand tools for electronic and mechanical assembly. Understand and assemble electronic circuit cards from schematic or assembly drawings. Identify polarity designations on components for proper orientation.

Positions at Raytheon may require U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.

Desired Skills:
Follow verbal instructions to build/fabricate engineering electronic assemblies. Prior experience with AN/USC-28 circuit card and assemblies fabrication.
