 Description

The Geohydrologist performs analyses and sythesizes data derived from field tests in support of projects directed at the long-term storage and disposal of commercial spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste. Performs technical research and utilizes computers as aids developing solutions to engineering and scientific problems. Formulates reports and complex data sets for project use. Must be knowledgable of saturated and unsaturated zone hydrology.

 Required Skills

Requires a Doctorate degree in Geology or Engineering or a Masters degree and 3 years of related experience.

Preferred: Class work or experience in probabilistic risk assessment or thermal hydrology.
