Education Requirements:


 

BS in appropriate Engineering discipline


 


 Experience Requirements:


 

Minimum 2 years equipment or process engineering experience in semiconductor industry

Diffusion experience





Job Responsibilities:


Support technicians on preventative maintenance.

Troubleshoot and maintain the toolset in area.

Write and update tool specifications as needed.

Develop and implement tool installation packages, follow installation from initial design through qualification.

Maintain complete records in area of all scheduled maintenance events.

Attend all required departmental training.

Monitor and improve equipment reliability, availability, throughput, and cost of ownership.

Design, test, and implement equipment improvements, modifications, or upgrades.

Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems.  Define and implement solutions.

Create operation manuals/documents for maintenance procedures and specifications.

Act as a resource to build the knowledge throughout the equipment maintenance team.

Order and modify consumable and spare parts and maintain ordering levels to ensure adequate stock.  Identify and evaluate second source parts suppliers.

Lead and/or facilitate cross-functional work teams and meetings.

Demonstrate a strong, self motivated work ethic.

Represent Qimonda in dealings with equipment vendors.

Track and improve uptime on assigned toolsets.  Present detractors and improvements to factory-wide equipment engineering team.

Education: Bachelors (or equivalent work experience)
