Equipment Engineering

Adecco Technical Division is assisting one of our clients to identify an Equipment Engineer to work in the Richmond, VA area. The following are the responsibilities and requirements for this position.

Education Requirements: BS in appropriate Engineering discipline or ERB approval

Experience Requirements: 3 years minimum engineering and/or project management experience in semiconductor or related industry is preferred

Job Responsibilities:
? Monitor and improve equipment reliability, availability, throughput and cost of ownership.
? Design, test, and implement equipment improvements and modifications.
? Monitor and report out on equipment toolset performance
? Manage new equipment installation and start-up.
? Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems. Define and implement solutions.
? Act as a resource to build the knowledge of the equipment maintenance team.
? Partner with Manufacturing and Process Engineering on projects and meetings aimed at improving operational support.
? Manage consumables and spare parts activities. Identify and evaluate second source parts suppliers with a view to reducing cost of ownership and improving quality.
? Write and update tool specifications as needed.
? Represent company in dealings with equipment vendors.
? Demonstrate a strong, self-motivated work ethic.
? Previous etch equipment experience a strong plus.
