Job Description
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to achieve manufacturing process yields and productivity goals. Provides a level of equipment maintenance support that will result in improved machine availability and performance, and manage equipment resources to improve equipment management indices, such as cycle time and cost of ownership. Will perform periodic scheduled maintenance and unscheduled troubleshooting on thin films (metal deposition) and supporting equipment. Preferred thin films equipment knowledge & experience: MRC Eclipse, Tokyo Electron (TEL)
Will keep up to date on PM schedules, specifications, and troubleshooting techniques. Makes recommendations and red line changes to PM schedules and equipment maintenance specifications. Ensures spare part inventory levels are appropriate an accurate. Work with production, engineering, vendors, and OEM personnel as required.




Requirements:
Associate Degree in electronics or related technical discipline or equivalent formal military electronics training and two years or more experience repairing and maintaining semiconductor thin films equipment. Must have the skills to troubleshoot problems down to the root cause and correct the problem, followed by verification. Must possess the ability to recognize safety hazards and possible improvements.

Must have the ability to read and interpret schematics, maintenance manuals, engineering sketches, drawings, and test equipment. Strong electro-mechanical and electrical skills a must. Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office software suite and other job relevant software applications.
