Position Specification

Estimator

Chase Precast is seeking an estimator to work in our Engineering Department. Duties include:

?  Perform quantity takeoffs from plans

?  Solicit material quotes from vendors

?  Complete product estimates

?  Write proposals to be used by Sales Department to bid projects

?  Research external sources to find potential projects

?  AutoCAD drafting on an as-needed basis to support fellow drafters in preparation of submittal drawings and/or shop drawings

?  Project manage certain complicated projects

 

Education and Experience

?  The ideal candidate will possess a college degree in a related field, strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and experience with plan takeoffs and estimating

?  Proficiency with Microsoft Office a must!
