We are looking for candidates who possess good organizational and communication skills to join our team! The Building Energy Systems Department, who is responsible for providing engineering technical support to the engineering sales staff, is looking for an Estimator/Assistant Project Coordinator.


Estimator/Assistant Project Coordinator

 

Requirements:

-  College Graduate or High School and/or Trade School with equivalent field experience.

-  4+ years working within the HVAC Industry

-  Microsoft Office Suite knowledge



 

Responsibilities Include:

 

Project estimating

 

? Selection of favorable projects for bid, acquisition of bid documents, interpretation of bid documents, and effective product selection

? Coordination of factory mounted controls options with equipment estimating department

? Production of timely and accurate project take-off and pricing with emphasis on larger projects, institutional work and projects with short notice

? Solicit subcontractor bid quotations

? Attend pre-bed job coordination meetings

?  Perform existing building pre-bid and site survey

? Coordinate pricing profitability with BES Marketing Manager

Project support

?  Provide project support to BES project managers

?  Provide assistance in change order pricing

Sales Turnovers

?  Schedule sales turnover meetings

?  Produce project pricing support documents and diagrams

?  Provide complete up-to-date project and pricing documentation to project managers upon contract award and receipt of purchase order

Sales support

?  Work with sales to determine value engineering scenarios best suited for projects

?  Provide monthly BES Quotation Report, salesman?s achievement report, BES orders report and project sales turnover report to sales department manager

?  Attend weekly sales meetings

Marketing support

?  Assemble marketing information for technical proposals

?  Provide scope-of-work and proposal interpretation assistance

?  Supervise editing of specifications and sequences of operation
