Estimator - Engineering/Mechanical/Project 75-95 K/yr

Engineering client is actively looking for a Sr. Estimator with 10+ years of direct experience estimating the engineering portion of heavy industrial plant EPC projects & at least 2 years of valve estimating experience. Client prefers candidates with an Engineering degree, but will consider candidates with equivalent experience. You will assist with the development & maintenance of standard methods of estimating & 3rd party proprietary estimating software such as McCormick & MS Excel. The ideal candidate will have estimating experience in support of process plant EPC projects (refinery, petrochem, chemical, air separation, etc...). Your main focus will be on estimating the mechanical engineering portion of these projects. You will be responsible to plan, organize, and control estimating activities for all business unit proposals & estimates. You will prepare, coordinate, review and distribute estimates in accordance with Company policy and procedures, Workflow, and Work Instructions. You will prepare a list of quantities for field cost estimate to identify labor, material, and service costs to install process plant equipment. You will also be expected to re-estimate on-module and off-module fabrication man-hours as requested by proposal management. You will be responsible for updating unit rates & material cost databases to keep them current. You will be expected to prepare estimates for Job Change Notices (JCN). You will review all approved Job Change Notices (JCN) to determine if there are any changes in fabrication man-hour budget. Great opportunity, pay, benefits and good relocation package.
