FAB 4 PCVD/Implant Equipment Technician

As a PCVD Technician at Micron, you will be responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving your assigned area while working with production operators and area engineers to produce silicon-based semiconductor products. In this position, you will monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical and electronic skills to troubleshoot and repair of down equipment. You will also be required to assist with equipment installs; create and modify equipment procedures; and increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship, and routine review of maintenance check sheets and procedures.



Qualified candidates will have previous semiconductor experience, applied knowledge in manufacturing, and a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot electronic components to the board level.  You should have knowledge of Novellus Concept 2, Applied Producer Mainframe, Applied Centura Mainframe, TEL Unity, UV 1250, Varian and AMAT Implant systems, and Surfscan SP1 tools.  This position also requires that you have an understanding of CVD, PVD, and/or Implant processes and that you are able to analyze and address SPC issues on a daily basis.  Other competencies include demonstrated analytical problem-solving, good time management skills, self motivation, and computer knowledge used for documentation and analysis.


 


Education:


AAS (minimum) in Electronics, BS in Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent military experience.
