FEA Engineer

StaffingMaster is currently assisting our client, Parker Hannifin, in their search for a FEA Engineer.  

 

Parker Hannifin is a world leader in motion and control technologies, providing systematic, precision-engineered solutions for a variety of commercial, industrial and aerospace markets.

 

This excellent opportunity will be located at the Mentor, Ohio facility.  Mentor, Ohio is a suburb of the Cleveland area.  Relocation assistance will be provided for a qualified candidate.

 

Position Summary:

 

The FEA (Finite Element Analysis) Engineer will perform heat-transfer and stress analysis by using 2-D or 3-D FEA models using ANSYS, equate analysis results with acceptability criteria, assist in design optimization through analysis, and help in experimental verification by designing tests that will help simulate analysis boundary conditions.  You will also write brief and clear-cut reports documenting each analysis and make presentations to internal and/or external customers.  A qualified candidate must be willing to travel internationally at least 40% of the time. 

 

Qualifications:

 

1.  Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field. Master?s degree preferred. 

2.  5-7 years FEA experience with ANSYS. 

3.  Working knowledge of Pro-E solid modeling software. 

4.  Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to work effectively in a team environment a must. 

5.  Excellent facilitation, change process skills and overcoming resistance to change.
