FPGA Principal Design Engineer

Division Overview: Telephonics Communication Systems Division is the industry leader in secure military airborne, ground based and shipboard intercommunications systems design and integration. Brief Summary: Research, develop, design and test electronic, electrical and mechanical components, equipment and systems. Coordinate activities involved in their fabrication, operation, application, installation and repair. Focus on processes and process improvement. Directly supervise Technical employees in the Engineering department. Give direction to Drafters and Designers. Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Master's degree in a related field preferred), plus 12 years directly related experience. VHDL design, and RTCA experience required. Knowledge of analog and digital audio design is required. Working knowledge of digital signal processors also required. DO-254 experience is a plus. Must have a background that would permit the issuance of a Security clearance, which includes US citizenship.
