Fab 1 Metrology Technician

As a Metrology shift Technician for Micron Technology, Inc. you will be responsible for the electrical, mechanical, and optical maintenance and support of all Metrology equipment (preventative and corrective maintenance). You will monitor the operation of Metrology equipment on shift and troubleshoot equipment issues that arise on shift.


 


You will assist all process areas in maintaining accurate and reliable measurements of their respective processes. 



Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of traveler/process flow
Good team work skills
Good organizational skills and be able to work on multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize issues and tasks
Self motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent learning skills and attention to detail a must
Shift flexibility for shift rotation on A, B, C or D shift
Knowledge of SWR, ECN, SPC, ETI, MES, and other fab operating systems desired
Knowledge of and or experience with various metrology methods such as Ellipsometry, Reflectometry,  XRR, XRD, XRF, OCD, and 4 point probe is preferred


 

Education:

AA in Electronics, an equivalent technical field, or equivalent military training.
