Fab 4 Pilot Line Scanner Technician/Engineer

As a Scanner Technician/Engineer you will be responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving your assigned area while working with production operators and area engineers. In this position, you will monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical and electronic skills to troubleshoot down equipment. You will also assist with equipment installs and upgrades and create and modify equipment procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for increasing tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship, and routine review of maintenance check sheets and procedures.



Qualified candidates will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot electronics down to the board level.  You must also have an understanding of Pneumatics, Vacuum Systems, and Thermal Controls. You should have previous semiconductor experience.  Knowledge of ASML scanners is preferred.  It is also essential that you understand Photo processes and analyze and address SPC issues on a daily basis.  Other desirable competencies include demonstrated analytical problem-solving, good time management skills, self motivation, and computer knowledge used for documentation and analysis.


 


Education:
AAS in Electronics, BS in Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent military experience required.
