Failure Analysis Engineer

As a Flash Failure Analysis Engineer at Micron, you will be in a highly visible role responsible for conducting failure analysis and system correlation on all FLASH product returned from customers for any issues or problems in their systems. Responsibilities include testing device functionality, both electrically and physically; understanding systems usage; analyzing data to correlate fails to root cause; and reporting results and corrective actions to customers.  You will work closely with other departments within Micron, including Product Engineering, Assembly, Test, and applications engineering. When failures are found, you will communicate results to other Micron groups and work with these other groups to ensure corrective action.

Successful candidates for this position will have:
Familiarity with automated test equipment.
Experience on test platforms such as NEXTEST Maverick and/or ADVANTEST (ideal).  Knowledge of NAND functionality (desired).
Good programming skills in C/C++.
UNIX scripting abilities (in any scripting language) for data analysis.
Systems application knowledge (ideal).
Good communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
The ability to work in a team environment is necessary. Education:BS in Electrical engineering, Systems engineering, computer engineering or equivalent education is required.*06
