Fayetteville, NC Construction Materials Testing Department Manager

Our Fayetteville, NC office is seeking a motivated individual in the construction materials testing department who enjoys interaction with people (clients and staff), understands the importance of client service, and wants the opportunity to be a leader. 

 

A successful candidate would have the opportunity to work with a well-proven office and technician staff with significant experience in East/Central North Carolina.  This position will involve a combination of both office and field work.  Office duties will include daily phone interaction with clients, some scheduling of technicians, and reviewing of test data, proposal and report preparation.  Field duties could include site meetings, field testing, and daily interaction with technicians performing project related testing.  Managerial responsibilities will also include planning and implementing financial objectives, management of the radiation and quality systems programs, technician training, assistance with equipment calibrations, and business development.

 

Qualified candidates must have:3+ year experience in construction materials testing BS (or MS) in engineering or science related fieldEI, or ability to obtain EI within 1 yearPE, or ability to obtain PE within 2 yearsSolid written and verbal skillsValid drivers license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) per S&ME Fleet Management Program
