***Field Representative Position in Central Vermont Available ***
Job Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, independently manages the execution and timely completion of assigned work orders and other inspection cost projects by analyzing scope, determining requirements, and evaluating complex products and systems to establish requirements and prepare reports. Maintains the integrity of the UL Mark by conducting various product, device, process, system, and material inspections at various sites and factory locations to ensure they are produced and marked in compliance and accordance with various applicable technical requirements. May assist in the promotion, marketing and selling of new and existing UL services. Works with internal and external customers to resolve technical and administrative issues. Position serves customers primarily in the Vermont area as well as surrounding state border areas of NH, MA, and NY. May be called upon to assist in additional areas. Some travel outside of the general area may be required.
Job Requirements:
BS or AAS Min Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Quality control.
Home Location to be within 20 miles of Central Vermont. (Rutland, VT would be a preferred but not a required location) Basic computer knowledge required, which includes Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, Powerpont and Lotus Notes. Physical ability for possible work in other areas which may include ground ladder work. Quality control / auditing experience a plus. Must have a familiarity with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, voltmeters, etc.
