Field Sales Application Engineer

The Field Sales Application Engineer must be Minneapolis based and is responsible for pre-sales and some post-sales customer engagement. The Field Sales Engineer will conduct product and technical presentations, technically qualify prospects and work with ReadyLinks and customers to develop appropriate solutions. Position also involves product demonstration and assistance with lab and field trials. Candidate should have a strong technical background and knowledge of data, VoIP and IP Video networks. Effective communications internal and external to the company is required.

Qualified candidates will meet a majority of the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:
- Pre and post sales technical support of ReadyLinks solutions
- Conduct and assist technical and sales presentations
- Assist customers in configuring and testing products in field and lab trials
- Provide expertise on technical issues and specific network architectures and applications
- Conduct technical customer training
- Assist sales in articulating customer technical requirement for current and future products
- Provide customer technical input to sales and marketing plans

Qualifications:
- BSEE/BSCS desired
- Domestic/International travel required (40%)
-5+ years experience in data networking including VoIP, routing, switching and IP based video
- Telco industry experience and understanding of telco infrastructure desirable
- Excellent presentation and communications skills required
