Field Service Engineer 2056

Atlanta, GA

 

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing on-site installations, servicing and repair of complex antenna equipment and systems. Checks and approves operational quality of system equipment, as well as instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. This person serves as company liaison with customer on technical matters for field engineering issues, and works in the Call Center in a Tier 2 capacity and provides technical assistance to customers. This person also performs preventive maintenance, repair, testing, and calibration of digital/analog electronic systems and equipment.



The successful candidate for this position will have over 5 years experience in the satellite communications field. Military experience is a plus. A background in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of fixed and mobile antenna systems is valued, as well as proficiency in Win XP, Unix, and Linux OS. 75% Travel.

 



Requirements:
AA/AS degree along with 4-6 years experience required.  Over 5 years experience in the satellite communications field. Military experience is a plus. Background in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of fixed and mobile antenna systems. Proficiency in Win XP, Unix, and Linux OS a plus.  U.S. citizenship required.
